A faerie-house trail
The Merrymaking Trail
Where the faeries come to rest, play and be merry — past the fairground, the spa and every faerie treat in town.
Where it begins
Starts at 503 Main Street.
This is where the faeries come to kick up their heels — to rest, play, party and dance the night away. Starting at 503 Main Street, head up Orchard Street between Spill the Tea and The Old Station to see all the ways they like to have fun. At the Mossy Kettle they enjoy a cup or two of tea and the latest faerie gossip. Up ahead is the Magnolia Fairground, with its Faeries Wheel and Faeries-Go-Round; after dark, faeries dance jigs and reels in the Ballroom or catch the latest flick at The Cinema next door.
As you round the corner onto Parish Street, you will pass the Honeysuckle Spa — wing massages, mini mani-pedis, dewdrop facials and magic wand treatments are always popular. Approaching Edgewater Street, stop a moment to enjoy the beautiful bay ahead before turning right. On this very busy street, be sure to always hold hands!
Soon you will pass the Surf’s Up Shop, Tinkerbell Music Hall, the Sugar Plum Ice Cream Parlour and the Buttercup Bakery & Café. Rounding the corner, look for the doors to Bluebell Manor in the rock garden at the edge of The Old Station — for faeries who love the excitement of downtown living. Don’t miss Hawthorne House under the twisty tree before you finish back on Orchard Street for one more cup of tea!
